Music Memory: For the In-Between

I'm not proud of it, but the song I sang to fill the silence of the Jeep today...

 

"I'm not a girl, not yet a woman."

 

It could be that the weight of my upcoming last birthday as a 20-something is sinking in.

It could just be I watched Crossroads one too many times as a teen.

 

Whatever the cause, this is the song I couldn't get out of my head today...

The one I hoped people stuck at lights beside me could not hear.

 

And this is where I hang my head in shame.

 

Now please tell me you rock out to some seriously embarrassing (outdated) tunes while cruising around town.

Please. Anyone?
